As dearly as I miss her, when I saw her today… Maomao looked happy, which is all that matters. She’s been her usual self, coming to me for pets and rubs. Purring incessantly and huddled in my lap, it seemed so familiar but yet such a long time coming and it is always not enough. I have no one to blame but myself for the scarcity of my visits. Truly if I wanted to, I could make more time to see her despite how busy my schedule may be. But with life responsibilities a.k.a. obligations, the mind gets cluttered with other priorities and at the same time, it subconsciously knows she is being well taken care of. Yes, this has been my excuse. But for the latter part of that, I am aware that is indeed the truth and I can only be grateful for that.
