I probably should have listed ‘sort out the house’ as a goal before ‘sell the house’

This is such a mammoth task :(

In the last two days I have made a little tiny, tiny bit of progress though and seeing what I have done has given me a bit of hope.

I have:

Cleaned the living room
Put everything we are throwing away into bin liners
Put any larger items with the bin liners
Painted the longer wall (can’t paint the others til the bags and things have gone)
Boxed up the books (seven large boxes!)
and made a plan!

I have to get a skip to put all the rubbish in, then pull up the carpet/underlay (and put that in the skip). Once that is done I have to paint the doors and skirting boards (and the remaining walls.) Then leave the windows open to air it out. Get the charity shop to come and collect the table, tv unit, bookcases and other furniture. Get my mum to hire a van to collect the sofa she wants. Get R and P to hire the piano moving company and come and fetch the piano. Clean the windows/glass in doors. Then leave it with the door shut until carpet fitting time.

Then onto the next area (probably the hallway/downstairs toilet/cupboard)

Easy enough! :/
