When I was little, my grandma was one of my best friends. As I grew up, I became “too cool” to hang out with her and we grew apart. Last week when she told me I’m practically a stranger, it stung. Family truly is all you have. I can’t waste that valuable time being a stranger to my own family. I will feel extremely happy when I’m able to say this has been done.
