The version I watched online was a bit dark; that combined by much of the monochromatic colouring of the film made it a bit difficult on my eyes after a while.

The way the film is cut and edited can also make it a bit tiring, lots of quick cuts, lots of fast action. It’s a film that I’ll have to watch again on DVD to be able to catch all the smaller details.

Overall, an enjoyable film – I especially enjoy watching Jude Law in period costume. I never really was one for bowler hats or mutton chops, but he actually manages to make them look yummy!
