for my move to nyc, i decided to sell my car via craigslist. i aimed high, but knew people would haggle me down. decided to ‘do unto others as i would have them do to me’ and told people about the repairs i knew would be needed. got 2 bids in a row about $800 less due to those repairs, but wanted to hold out for a bit more money due to low mileage which i thought was good. the day before i moved, i finally sold it. total blessing to have it taken care of right on time! i’m awful at selling things, so it’s a big relief.
