Matthew There's nothing to it but to do it.
So I put off contacting the admissions adviser longer that I wanted to, but it actually may have worked out for the better. I found a different school that may be a much better fit for what I am looking for. I was considering City University, but I just found Western Governor’s University. They are both online programs, which is the only way I could handle work and school right now. With this new school I can actually get my Master’s instead of just a teaching certificate, which is what I was really looking for.
The down side is that the Master’s program for the age group I want to teach requires a couple math classes that I didn’t get a chance to take before. I don’t know if I can just take these classes or if I have to earn another Bachelor’s degree. It shouldn’t take too long with the amount of credits I can transfer, if that’s the case. I’ve got an appointment with an adviser on Monday to discuss things in detail. Fingers crossed!
