I even found for me that if I don’t eat enough and of the right things (mainly, if I consume too much sugar or not enough fat or protein), that I will actually gain weight.
For me, if I exercise too much, I can also gain weight (bodyfat), not muscle as well as not eat enough. So, the combination of not eating enough of the right things and exercising too much is not a good combination (at least for me).
What is notable and interesting (for me) is that the weeks I actually eat more healthy fats, my bodyfat (and inches) go down quicker.
That doesn’t mean to go load up on fatty eating, but if you’re going low fat, that might actually be making you fatter.
Healthy fats:
- Nuts & seeds
- Avocados
- Wild fish like salmon
- Bacon with no nitrites
- Coconut oil
- Organic butter, heavy cream
Eating these things combined with good proteins, has helped me to not be hungry and it seems to melt fat away quicker.
The last week, I have eaten lower in fat because of not feeling well, and I didn’t release hardly anything.
