I’m taking these recording workshops, trying to figure out the best way to make this happen. I have slivers, and chunks of songs that I must perfect though. I don’t want any studio magic. I want to record just what I can do live or what is feasible…no studio tricks. I want to get back to that simple way of thinking, that the record was simply that…a record of my music…not for composition.

Not to say that my music doesn’t have effects…it’s awash in them.

I also need to find a good lockout or jam room.
