I am in this very important relationship at the moment, and most of the time it’s great, but lately both of us are struggeling. My boyfriend is 23 and I am 27. Usually the age thing is not that big of a probelem for us. However, I started working and he is still a student.This has somehow changed the whole thing.It’s tough on both of us. I don’t want to hold him down and let him be a student and figure out himself, but I am also constantely thinking about where this is going and if I want to experience more by myself??? We talked about it and we are both unsure. Not about our feelings but about the timing. He said it quite nicely when he said that “had we met when he was 30 we would get married because this is it”.
But we aren’t that old and now we both don’t want to drag this relationship down just because we have some urge to get out there….
I think it’s a pretty stupid situation, but I know that there feelings shouldn’t be ignored either…
