I went to Sombra and took photos of the gravestones of dead relatives, three of whom I knew during their lifetime. I was surprised to discover that Aunt Ulah died at age 74, when I remember her looking older than my mom looks, so I thought she was older. As it was a holiday Monday, the museum in town was closed, and so were all civic offices. I got in touch with the RC church there and need to follow up to get more information, and the same thing on the other side of the river – in St. Clair, MI, it was a holiday, and I left a message for the RC church geneology specialist there.
