I have my heart set on a mission trip to Haiti. I went to my local library hoping to find books about Haitian history and language. I was disappointed to find nothing of relevance, so I bought three books to get me started. I am currently reading an anthology by Haitian writers. So far, it is interesting. I am going to start working from a Creole phrase book also. I will brush up on my high school French as well, since both languages are spoken there.
