- there was a new guy at work whom I was to coach yesterday. It took that to realise I pretty much kick ass, I think I managed to explain more to him on his first day than I was explained on my first week, in some areas anyway.
- I cut the back of my hair a heck lot more, without even a mirror behind me or anything. My coworker who cuts hair asked who cut mine. I said “err I did”, she laughed and said “no, seriously, who did ?”. I said I really did and she said it was quite good.
- In 2006, I was at the Paris Pearl Jam concert and I got to crowd-surf during the Alive solo. It was pretty cliched but fun albeit scary (they just throw you to the next person who might not be aware of it since they’re facing the stage, so most of the time, they don’t intercept you just yet, you kind of fall on their shoulders, they tend to bend as a result and they have to be really good sports to lift you back up after that probable pain rather than just let you fall on the floor. I was very light though, the only guy I really felt for is whomever I felt my shoe bump into). I did make it all the way to the stage though and due to my position I got to see Mike McCready playing upside down which was pretty cool for the stupid 19 year old me. It was way too loud a gig though it’s not where I got my tinnitus from.
