visit all 50 states (read all 13 entries…)
I might...

...take a road trip this coming weekend to the ocean. I’d like to visit Maryland and Delaware.

:)

Are you from MD?

You should tell me a bit about what to do there. I barely saw Maryland when I was there~ I really wanted to go see the statue of Alex Haley and the Naval Academy, though :(

nerdnerdnerd

Perhaps I need a second visit? :)

Josh ...and life just rolls on like a river.

Nope. :)

I was born and raised in Southern Indiana, about 45 minutes from Louisville, KY. I’ve pretty much always lived in this area (either in Southern Indiana or in Louisville… though I’m often VERY tempted to move to Moab, Utah, Charleston, South Carolina, and/or Seattle, Washington… I love, love, love those places). But I do really like this area. Louisville is an awesome city and I love the scenery in Southern Indiana and Kentucky. Your neck of the woods is pretty cool, too, though. I have been to South Dakota many times.

I’m rambling now… Maryland! I’ve never been to Maryland (or Delaware). All the states that I haven’t been to are in New England, except Hawaii. This entry was written when I was thinking of taking an impromptu road trip to start knocking out some of the New England states on my list. Unfortunately, I never was able to go (I can’t even remember why now, but I’m sure something came up or I was abducted by aliens or something like that). :)

Nothing wrong with being a nerd. :)

Lol, Josh...

this was in response to bipolarbunny :) Don’t worry, I know e-mail notifications aren’t subjective to that sort of thing :P

Though I’m glad you love Utah as much as I do! hehe :) and I haven’t even seen the pretty parts yet…

What about Vermont then, Josh? That’s one of my dream-states along with Alaska

Josh ...and life just rolls on like a river.

Haha!

Yes, I can see that now. :) Sorry about that. I just clicked on the reply link from my email and away I went. :) I’m usually pretty good at checking that type of thing because you can’t really tell from the email the context. We shall chalk it up to me being tired and pretend I’m not really losing it. :)

I’m really glad you loved Utah, too, though! Have you visited the Moab area near Arches National Park? That area is one of my favorite places in the world. I love it there. :)

I actually haven’t been to Vermont either… haha! I had an entry in 2009 with a map that I accidentally added Vermont to. Sorry for the confusion. :( I haven’t been anywhere north or east of Pennsylvania in the New England area of our country. I hope to either hike the Appalachian Trail or take a giant road trip next year through New England. After that I will have seen the continental United States. I’m saving Hawaii for last. You’d love Alaska, I think. I spent 18 weeks there in 2002. I really wanted to go to Alaska but didn’t have much money. I was doing a bunch of traveling anyway so I found a way to make it happen: I got a seasonal job working off the fishing docks unloading boats and such. It was an awesome experience. One of the prettiest places I’ve ever seen.
