My car did the exact same thing! It would sputter and hesitate kind of like it was running out of gas, and at stoplights/stop signs or if i was making a turn (and sometimes while i was driving!) it would just completely cut off. That was always worse the more I drove in a day.

I changed the spark plugs and timing chain and that helped a little, but a couple weeks later the transmission died at an intersection. I panicked when I couldn’t get it started! I was there, in the rain, with my hugely pregnant friend for 45 minutes before we could get anyone to help us push it to safety. :(

I had my car towed so many times the last month we had it!
