It is true though, a writer writes and a photographer shoots, and with digital cameras and the lack of film there is no reason not to shoot until the finger hurts. : )

I loved the Dirty Harry movies and thought I could have a bit of fun with your quote.
I do agree with your quote or rather, Harry Callihan’s quote that to be really good at Photography you have to take a few shots out there.. One of the really exciting developments recently has been the invention of the digital camera and cheap digital storage. Once you buy the camera of your dreams you never have to buy film so you can shoot til the cows come home and keep em all or delete what you don’t like.. Then don’t get me started on digital manipulation and all the tons of software available to enhance, doctor, or just create with your pictures.

No, I knew you were kidding. : ) It’s much easier to convey that through inflection rather than through the written word sometimes. I often wonder if people know that I’m making a joke too.
I’ve actually never seen any of the Dirty Harry movies that I can remember. lol. I should see if any of them are on Netflix. :P
