cyanidesugar is having an existential crisis
I already know what tattoo I want to be my first. I have a consultation set up for April 21st at Blue Flame in Raleigh, NC.
It’s going to be a sunflower, and it’ll be on my back. I’ve saved lots of pictures for reference and I know what I want it to look like.
I was also thinking about getting the art work of a relative, my great Aunt Eva (who I was named after) on my thigh. The painting I want recreated is of two birds, and it’s a painting that I grew up seeing on a daily basis. My grandparents practically raised me, I spent every week day with them until my early teens. In the living room of their townhouse, where I spent a major part of my childhood, the painting has been hanging for as long as I can remember. It would be a great tribute to the amazing childhood I had and my heritage, which I’m proud of.
I’m also working on a yin/yang design, but it’s taking some time to figure out. I know I want it to be a contrast between the sun and the moon, but everything I’ve seen exhibiting this concept is not the quality I want. So, I continue to brainstorm.
