joie de vivre here only intermittantly
I woke up with a jolt because I knew I had to remember this one. Of course now, it’s just fragments.
Things I remember: hugging my friend, with a group of friends. (Not that I know any of these people IRL.) One of the friends was dying of AIDS. We all knew it, including him. We just wanted to be there for him, and be supportive.
I was to drag my dying friend in a trailer behind a tandem bicycle. I was going to ride the bike with my high school boyfriend Bruce. Since he has no experience with that kind of bike, I was going to be the captain.
We were riding up a ridiculously steep hill. All sorts of motor vehicles were speeding down the hill, very close, including a city bus.
This is all I remember.
