Spent half an hour listening to a guided “Healing Meditation” that a friend recommended to me.
I tried to mainly concrete on my breathing, as was recommended by the instructor at a meditation class I attended several months ago, but I also tried to picture some of the things the guide described.
I found myself having trouble finding a comfortable position. I think I need to go find a nice big pillow, or something like a beanbag chair.
I also found myself nodding off occasionally.
But all in all, the half hour wasn’t as grueling as I’d anticipated.
This COULD be an important step in the right direction.
