Thank yous and why I'm sad
Today, I received a very pretty handwritten thank you card.
It was from the parents of a little boy whos campaign I supported on IndieGoGo. He has cancer and is still very young – but doing much better.
After thanking her (on Facebook – at least good for something) I went to IndieGoGo to check on the two campaigns I supported. I found another personal thank you by the people from the other campaign – a young family father with very grave tooth problems.
And I was the only donor on both campaigns.
I’m so very sad now and my heart is heavy. I know there is so much pain and need in the world and no, we can’t help everybody.
Still I’m sad.
