I’ve had a problem with my right lower wisdom tooth for as long as I can remember. It’s coming in perpendicular to the rest of my teeth, i.e., it’s pushing towards the front of my mouth. My dentist kept saying we should watch it, and I’m sure if I had gone in regularly I would have been fine. But I didn’t, and now it’s starting to impact on that molar, and if I don’t get it out soon I’ll have to lose it AND the molar. So, about three months too late, I booked an appointment with an oral surgeon. Hopefully things haven’t progressed too badly. It’s going to be weird to not have that little gap at the back of my mouth any more, but I’ll get by somehow.
