I loved this movie. I made the classic mistake of seeing the movie first, and I thought it was very well-done. However, I enjoyed other parts of the book. Little details like other characters, or the sign in the window saying “Unattended children will be sold as slaves”. very enjoyable.

I guess I was touched by this book because of it’s thoughts on the after life and the dead’s involvement in our lives. I saw the movie a couple months after losing my brother, and I re-watch it all the time because it’s made me feel better about certain things, more than any other book or movie since. (Better than some “friends” too!) I think the book is going to be the same, but in other ways.
