On the tightrope - again

Began a new regimen on Thursday. Notable only, perhaps, for the fact that I have company. Three of us at the office are doing this eating plan – The Carb Sensitivity Diet by Dr. Turner
I fear that any attempt by the author to inject some ‘style’ into the weekly menu is doomed to fail with me. As with so many others making decent meals, I am deep in Prep:Peeling, chopping and seeding. Weighing and measuring are the order of the day – no more taking off the wrapper or opening the bag!

Lose weight...ugh

that’s a big one for a lot of us. Don’t really know anything about you, but I do know that the alkaline diet is a sure way to get healthy and lose weight. You can pretty much eat as much as you want-following this. It is not a diet, but a way of life-a change of diet to be more precise. I have been on this diet before, and am struggling to get on it again. the chemo has changed so much in me. Before I started the chemo I would have never put the things in my mouth that I have been. Anyway, this is just food for thought. Don’t go on a diet, but make a life change. When I was eating healthy the standard joke was that “that was my favorite when I use to eat that kind of junk!” Actually, it is not junk, but poision to the body. No matter what you do with diet I wish you the best of luck. Losing weight was easy when I changed my diet to eating healthy. I ate tons, and I rarely exercised. I saw a think on youtube about a guy who was nearly four hundred pounds. He was on 17 kinds of medications. The doctors told him he was dying. He went on a raw foods diet. He liked that because he could eat all that he wanted. Within six weeks he was off his meds and the doctors were still telling him he had to take the meds, even though his vitals returned to normal, he was losing weight, he felt fabulous, and had more energy than he ever had. If I can find this again I will post it!
