I would just love to travel throughout the USA in an RV visiting the great points of interest like Mount Rushmore, the St. Louis Arch etc. I would like to collect a sample of dirt from each state.

I guess that confirms you as a collector of junk. I collected bumper stickers and magnets. The bumper stickers are now gone but I still have most of the magnets.

consider you are also trying to declutter you hosue, maybe you should skip the 50 dirt samples? :)
