moving/improving my core workout

In addition to improving my core workout to include more exercises and stretching, I’m also switching the days I do my workout. Traditionally, I would do my core work on the same day as my strength training (2-3 times per week), but starting today I’m doing it every day I’m not strength training (3-4 times per week).
I figure that in addition to simply working more days out of the week, not doing core work on my strength day will help improve my gains in both, since I won’t be breaking down my muscles as much on the same day, but more progressively over the week. Very interested to see how this plays out.
