More week 2

randall1gregory wrote Still working on my adoption research week 2

Hours later, it turns out that my wife has kept an entire drawer for our adoption hopes. It used to sit in piles on the kitchen counter, but now has neatly been tucked away for another time. It appears this is the time.
By the way the former post should have read…I clicked on a few adds about adoption. It seems even the 43 things website is infested with advertising about products that might help people achieve their goals.

I began with the book, Baby, We Were Meant for Each Other, by Scott Simon (NPR weekend edition). It is calling me to finish some more reading before moving on to some more legwork type activities.

These potential activities for this week include, a vist to the Salem Library (great resource, and anyone could really go in there, you would just have to be a resident to check out books). I also experimented with the Evernote software that downloads for free, and I need a bit of practice with it. I hope to upload some pictures or PDF’s of the adoption drawer my wife has laid aside for us. Obviously, I will need to make sure that the proper annotations are made and that this material doesn’t go out on the web against copyright. I think that this is likely a goal for the course as well, so I’m looking forward to some more guided instruction from Ms. Richards. 1 week ago
