This is a fantastic book and on my list of must read books. I had to present on influencing and negotiating at a mentoring circle at work so I had to read up on the subject. I learnt a great deal from this book as it talks about getting the ego out of the way to influence others which was very helpful. The book had a nice style saying that you can choose to achieve what you want or not give in to giving annoying people what they want!
The main topic of the book is how to influence through building relationships.
The article on the authors’ website explains what you need, but the book really brought the concepts alive:
