5.5 miles, took about 3 hrs with a picnic stop. Good points – despite all the rain the porous chalk paths weren’t waterlogged and muddy. Interesting sites – lighthouse and old wartime bunkers. Bad points – the part of the walk that wasn’t coastal was a bit boring, just down a residential street! Nice bit of cake in the National Trust tea room!
