I like Mondays pretty fine. My Nick works from home, so it’s not like an abrupt end to weekend festivities for us. It’s good because he gets so much time with the baby and me, and also because when I need a few minutes to myself I can ask him, “Haven’t you got work you ought to do..?” ; ) Haha

Also, there is a fun story/music time at our library Monday mornings that is a good excuse for Jenna and me to get the babies out of the house, and to be a little silly with them. ♥

Monday is usually the first day back to work after the weekend off. At least for me it is. Second, more heart attacks are said to happen on Mondays.

Since the titles to the other two comments referred to a song, here’s mine.

I don’t like having to give my “how was your weekend?” report to my coworkers. I’m an introvert that way. But I like that my husband goes off to his martial arts in the evening so I have the house to myself (another introvert thing?). Hope your Monday goes well, ms. molliemoonlight!

I hate Mondays because it means my one day off is over and another six day work week is just beginning.

I like Monday because I don’t work until 1pm so I can sleep in if I want to. That will be ending at the end of this month, but then the positive will be that I don’t have to work with the public at all for my first three hours!

I don’t like that I have to get out of my bed at an ungodly hour, to brave traffic, to go work on someone else’s dream…again!

I’m not a morning person, so Mondays just symbols the start of a routine I dislike!

I don’t like traffic! I find it a great contributor to time wastage.

I hate the fact that I have to go somewhere for 8 hours and work towards something I’m not necessarily interested in AND with people that drive me crazy, when I could be pursuing MY dreams!

is now my day off, which is both a good and bad thing. It’s a mixed thing because I teach on Tuesdays, and I usually have grading and prep work to do. I always intend to do that on the weekend so I can relax on Monday, but I never do ~ so the day that is supposed to be my relaxing day ends up being a heavy work-at-home day. Still it is my day off and I don’t have anything scheduled on my calendar so I can work at my own pace.

After this week, I imagine I will love Mondays because I’ll be on summer holidays.

It’s like the first bite out of a sandwich.

Mondays feel fresh and new to me. A week lies ahead unbesmirched with mistakes or pain yet.

Besides, it’s dollar days at Value Village, and I can pick up some really good deals. :)

Since I moved into my own place, I don’t have the kids on Sat night – Tues night. Mondays were my walking day and no matter how miserable the weekend, it was always fine for the couple of hours I needed to do my walk.
Since then, I’ve signed up for a yoga class at 0630 on a Monday, which is also a beautiful way to start the week :)
Monday is probably one of my faves these days. _{but now that I walk on Tuesdays, they’re pretty good, too ;)}

Every day’s the same to me. Well today, they asked me to go to work even though monday’s supposed to be my day off so it’s not starting too well. Rain’s been pouring nonstop all day so far and all of last night. It’s soothing but that may be just because I’m still in the house. Oh wait, it’s my mom’s birthday !!!

enjoying Mondays lately. Today especially. My boyfriend got a job out of school in 4 days and this wasn’t something I was able to manage. Everyone is at work and I’m not working yet :/ Not really happy about it.

Where I work is only sort of half-open on Mondays, so it’s usually a bit calmer in the office than the rest of the week.
