April 8
- My birthday! Easter! Celebrating both with extended family in White Rock.
- Two Easter hunts, one where I was surprised by a nice bottle of wine, truffles, and Turkish delight – I didn’t realize the bunny was taking my passions into account this year.
- A delicious Indian Easter meal (yumyumyum) before having my cake and eating it too!
- The kids looked so nice; Isak in a crisp white shirt with rainbow suspenders and Iris in a pretty blue dress with springy flowers—and both had cheery behavior throughout a long, long day.
- We weathered the unexpected hospital fiasco with my mother-in-law gracefully.
- Long late night talks over tea and treats.
