I love the Olympics!!
The summer games are my favorite. I look forward to a lot of events. Too many to pick one top. Diving, synchronized diving, gymnastics, swimming, track & feild! It is all so exciting!

I love the
Olympics and there are many sports that I enjoy watching. I am especially fond of the 100 and 200 meter races because those are the ones I ran in during high school. I like watching the running and swimming races. I enjoy gymnastics, except the pommel horse. Woman’s beach volleyball is hot.
I absolutely hate the equestrian events and synchronize swimming. Those aren’t even sports in my opinion.

I love watching the Olympics. I’ve always really loved the gymnastics and any swimming or diving events. I usually watch with my father and eat a ton of snack foods and wear a groove in the couch from my butt, from all that watching and discussing. Haha.

...I was at the zoo yesterday and saw emus, ostriches, and rheas.
The rheas were much cooler than the emus, though. Sorry. ;-)

Women's Beach Volleyball...
is the one I look forward to the most. When the Olympics were in Atlanta it was the only event I went to see in person.
I like the track and field sports and the gymnastics and the swimming and diving. Also the boxing and tae-kwon-do events. This year I’ll be checking out the triathlon, which I have not followed previously.

and the diving events are interesting. I skip most team events.
I don’t usually watch sports, and then every two years I am glued to the screen for a couple of weeks straight.

Although I usually record them because there are so many hours of programming & I end up watching them months (or years!) later ;)
My most memorable Olympic moments? Nadia Comaneci’s gymnastics performances in the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The US men’s volleyball team winning the gold in LA in 1984. Greg Louganis in Seoul in 1988- suffering a concussion by hitting his head on the springboard in the prelims, then coming back to win gold in the finals with the same dive.
