4 Years later and still not fully Tithing.

My non Catholic friends writes a check to the Church for 10% of every pay check, and retirement payment that goes in his checking account. I also want to do this. After all I am not getting any younger. I will continue to pray for my obtaining this mandated from God.

I’m sure your church will give you the payment address. If you don’t already have online billpay, it’s a great thing. It takes a couple of hours to set up but saves a lot of time and problems in the long run, as well as mailing fees. You can have some companies send you e-bills and arrange for automatic payment of those e-bill accounts. You can, also, arrange for a set amount to be paid from every paycheck automatically, so you never really see that money. If there’s one month you’re running short and need the money, you simply stop the payment for that month.
