Had my first annual Pride and Prejudice wine and cheese party. It was my anti-Valentine’s Day party without being too anti…I mean, we did drool over Colin Firth after all. Glad all who could come came…we had just the right amount of people. Anyway, I enjoyed myself and I hope everyone else did too. My neighbor called after to tell me she thought the food was amazing. Amazing is not what I would have called it, but I’m glad she thought so. I would have used the word “Yummy” or “Delicious,” but amazing works for me. The things that I actually prepared, I made for the first time, and they turned out good. Brie was the favorite methinks. Can’t take all the credit though, because some of my pals brought stuff too, and what they brought was really yummy too. Super yummy, even. I’m glad it all seemed to work out. I hadn’t really had a proper party before and it was cool. I have to do stuff like this more often, even if it’s just have friends over for dinner and a movie. Must entertain more!
