Quinoa w/ peas

Today I made quinoa w/ peas.
In a small amount of olive oil oil I sauteed half of a medium red onion. Then added about 8 oz sliced mushrooms. Then I added 1 c. quinoa, 2 c. water, about 2 c. frozen peas, and about 1/4 c. chopped toasted walnuts. I brought it to a boil and then reduced the heat and let it simmer covered (stirring occasionally) for about 20 minutes. I was yummy, the only thing I would have changed was to add the peas at the very end.
