Last Thursday I went to pick up my combat boots from the Cordonnier; however it turns out they weren’t stretched out enough.

I went at the end of the day; since that is when your feet are at their most swollen, which would make a perfect time to test them. They were still rather snug against the arch, right where the stitching is near the bottom of the tongue. And this was with barefeet; so it would certainly need more room if I was to be wearing socks, such as in wintertime!

So I had to leave them there for another few days, so that he could stretch them out some more. I was rather bummed; as it is a 40km round trip out there and back!
