The other day someone told me the reason they put up with me and my foolishness (my words not theirs but still an accurate description of events) was not just because they had something invested in the outcome but primarily because they believed in me and were excited to see what would happen when I got my act together. I really respect this person and it made my whole year to have them say this to me.
