Walk up around the moors alone, to reflect on life and appreciate the countryside (read all 4 entries…)
A flying visit

I ran my furthest run yet last week, and my longer route took me over the moors! Obviously as I was running I didn’t really get much reflecting or appreciating done, but it was so beautiful and peaceful and secluded that I can’t wait to walk next time and enjoy it at a slower pace :)

The pic is of a view through a strange stone sculpture just where the moors end and meet the road. I took it when I stopped for a quick breather. No idea why it’s there or what it’s meant to be, might be worth finding out.

PasadenaSue This is the year I face my fears and love myself!

Please do this!

I absolutely love the moors. They are so different than anything I am familiar with in SoCal. They are beautiful, lonely, windswept, and green. I have fond memories of wandering around them (and driving though them). We should all appreciate the beauty around us and we are often too busy doing “things” to take the time to enjoy what we have.

Let us know how this goal ends. :)

I'm trying haha!

The weather is so awful! It’s meant to be summer now!! I’m hoping IF it’s relatively nice on one of my days off next week, I can go forth and complete this goal :) You’re totally right, I never appreciated living on the edge of the countryside so much as when I moved to the city centre. And I’m working on solving the mystery of the sculpture…
