Beginner BabySteps: Day 31

Day 31! This marks the morph from a Flybaby to a Fly-lady, the completion of BabySteps and the beginning of Fly Plans. I decided to include today’s missions to the list to ease the transition.

(A special thank-you to Spatz for being my ardent Flybaby cheerer!)

Final BabySteps:

Morning
  • Make the bed
  • Wash up, get dressed, brush hair
  • Hot Spot – 2 minutes
  • Room Rescue – 5 minutes
  • Laundry
  • Mission: Check bathroom supplies, replenish or add to shopping list
  • Mission: 27 Fling Boogie (A place for everything & everything in its place) ✓ Boogied with my underwear drawer, computer desks, misplaced bags and their entrails.
Before-Bed
  • Shine sink
  • Hot Spot – 2 minutes
  • Declutter – 15 minutes (Postcrossing box – set timer!) ✓ A quarter way through the collection. It was difficult to let go of some things I’ve been keeping for years, thinking that I’ll use them someday, that they’ll come in handy one day, or that I’ll look at them from time to time. All of which I haven’t done in years. They’ve just been sitting in a big container box under the bed. It’s beginning to feel lighter now that the clutter is weighing down less. Some of the items that were deemed “too precious to use” have also been taken out, dusted and washed for using. What’s the point of keeping them in a box and letting them go to waste? Precious things should be visible, used and appreciated all the more.
  • Laundry
  • Bedtime: before midnight
Other to-do’s:
  • Evening Primrose Oil
  • Feed furballs
  • Read Rebecca
  • Do research for CHP project
  • Write
  • Check e-statement
  • Log finances
  • NO caffeinated drinks! Drink lots of water!
Skin treatment regime:
  • Twice daily: Moisturise with Cetaphil Restoraderm ✓ Thrice.
  • Once daily: Cleanse with antibacterial wash
  • Give Driclor a whirl rest
