• Completing my ribbon/medal assembling and writing out all my award certificates for tomorrow
• Running into teachers I used to work with at a summer school math training session
• My daughter’s request for apple pie from McDonald’s, 2/$1
• A call from my best friend~

I heard this song yesterday by Lucy Kaplansky called “Today’s the Day” http://youtu.be/Bt-msHjBUHU Its a tribute to her father who was a mathematician. It touched the place in my heart as a daughter that says that dad is still here. Hope you like it.

It's interesting...

....a friend said to me, after my Father passed away 3 years ago, that my relationship with him wouldn’t end with his death. She was so right.

I still acknowledge his birthday too. He’d have been 70 on his last one.
