Being fit is really a lifestyle, not a goal. You can never really consider it “done” because it isn’t a specific, concrete, measurable thing.
I’m down to around 180 lbs. I can run about 7 miles on the treadmill. My blood pressure is under control. I’m doing some weight training for strength and muscle (seen some strength gains over the last few years, but not really any noticeable muscle mass).
There are 5 areas of “fitness”: muscle strength, muscle endurance, cardio-respiratory endurance, body composition, and flexibility.
Flexibility is the one I’m really lacking. I’m pretty stiff. I’ve been considering yoga or something. We’ll see.
