move away from this hellhole (read all 3 entries…)
Soon...I hope 4 years ago

I never planned on landing here again but one thing in life led to another and well, here I am. My plan is to pay off my car and my credit card debt and launch myself outta this place. I’m definitely at a low point in my life.

This place is NOT a good place to live if you’re a single, open-minded, professional, non-Southern Baptist.

Move to a big city

You need be where there’s culture, action, single people, open minds, and opportunities.

Sounds like you need a big city. maybe this will inspire…

What a great project! Very cool.

I lived in Chicago for about 10 years and loved it, although getting ahead was hard. I think at this point in my life something smaller, but with plenty of culture and gorgeous scenery is what I need. I’m setting my sights on moving back to Asheville, NC.

I’ll definitely pass Urban Pioneer Project along though!

try overseas

Every expatriate I have ever met has always said the same thing about their experience – they would never trade it for the world. Despite good or bad times that are had in whatever country you end up in, being an expat is one of the most rewarding things you can do.

Another country would love to have you, why not give it a try?

The other day was Hemingway's birthday

Garrison Keillor was telling how his expatriate experience was vital to his becoming a successful writer.
