Have you tried advertising on Gumtree? That’s where I put the ad for Betty and it’s free, which is great. It helps alot to have pics too!

It is sad parting ways with a car you’ve had for quite a few years. I’ve certainly had mixed feelings about whether I’ve done the right thing by selling Betty but at the end of the day, like you guys, it was time to let someone else look after her! A nice young fellow bought her for his girlfriend to drive to/from work in. :-)

what make of car is a Capitolina by the way? I googled but couldn’t find any car types by that name?

You’re right, the sale of Betty was so fast I barely had time to wave her off down the street! Funny though; I don’t miss her at all (ssshhh!) and I’d often thought I might one day find her burnt out down by the river??

Your new car sounds fabulous – don’t worry about speed, at least it’s got the ‘look’ and all the right gadgets! :-)
