...and all I can say is, so far, so good. I have forty hieroglyphs to learn by next week, and I think I’ve got ten of them already. This is a harder language than Hebrew but absolutely fascinating. It helps that the teacher is marvelous.
I think that it’s mostly going to be a question of how much I can memorize, but of course that is just an impression after one class.
