We got out of hospital yesterday and are still finding our feet and a routine at home. Hubby is at home for another 3 weeks and is spending a lot of time bonding with Isaac (he’s a proud dad already).
However, the cats are not impressed, particularly by the effort he makes to complain loudly about having his nappy changed. Oh well hope that gets better.
Isaac was born early and weighed 7lb 6oz so he’s fairly thin but is a long baby (my family genes coming through? – my brother is 6’ 10” / 215cm tall). Lengthwise when he stretches he’s already at the limits of newborn clothes but they’re really baggy on him still. Bless him.

Photo P1010214.JPG was taken less than 40 mins after Isaac was born and we were all still in the recovery room. I can’t believe that I look this good! Definitely not looking like a mum that’ll be 40 in 3 months!!!
