a long night. There’s a big storm coming in, and our golden retriever gets very upset when the thunder starts. She will climb up onto our bed and whine and cry. I suppose I could crate her, but I hate for her to have to face her fear alone.

poor girl
and poor you!
Have you ever thought of trying a thundershirt to help with her anxiety?
Becca is terrified by fireworks. I wrap her up in a thundershirt, and I also give her some Xanax that the vet prescribed, and those things help to calm her.
Haven't tried
a thundershirt or xanax prescription for her, but I will now. Thanks so much for the recommendations!

You're welcome!
I really hope you can find something that helps her.
We haven't needed
to try a thundershirt of late. It hasn’t rained here more than a tenth of an inch since June. No thunder to speak of.

ah, well
at least there is some benefit to drought.
