It’s been almost two days. I probably ate more and drank more water in these two days than I usually eat&drink in a week. Anyway, I’m doing quite good. I’m nervous as hell, but can’t see myself going back.
I set up this as a one year challenge. One year is a long time, and yet I can avoid that ‘oh, I can’t believe I’ll never smoke a cigarette again’ & then i start smoking again. So, I’ve been decieving myself. It’s working.
I have also printed out health benefits of stopping smoking. One copy is right above my desk and another one in my purse. So, whenever I feel a craving I force mself to read them, preferably aloud.
