but home is in my husbands arms. Children accounted for. Dogs nearby. Home.

Slowly. Bit by bit.

I feel content. I’ve found that if I can relax, I feel at home =)

is the BC rain forest. Smell of wet earth. Moss everywhere. Raven’s call. Ocean nearby.

With my husband. I can go home to visit family, but if he isn’t there I miss him.

On a horse’s back. I’ve spent so much of my life there, it is home for me.

The family farm, where I grew up.

In a garden.

In Canada in general.

On walking trails with poplar trees and other recognizable vegetation.

More and more, here, where we live now. I can’t say I’m bonding big time with the general area, but there are a few high points and people. I really love our little property, and the lake down the road where we spend so much time.

I know they say that home is where the heart is, but I think home for me is where I feel like I can leave my dirty clothes on the floor or just relax completely. It’s a state of mind more than a physical place.

Is with my boyfriend and my cat when we can just relax in privacy and I can just talk to him about whatever we want and I can decorate however I want. I have a place I’m living but I wouldn’t currently call it a home.

(which at the moment, is Denver…ugh)

:) We just bought a house together, and will hopefully have the keys in about 4 weeks. So then, home will have an address!

if home is where the heart is i feel like mine is broken into many pieces and scattered around the world. US has a couple of chunks, nyc owning a big part. my home country has a couple of chunks as well. and i feel like there’s a lot of parts that are lost in different places. and i cant wait to find them :)
