tribute_to_erasmus feeling tired
I’ve been eating really well this last month, having salad and vegetables every day, virtually no processed or simple carbs and have been really good about keeping my calorie count relatively low (about 1200-1300 cals a day). Where I’ve been a little deficient is in my exercise. The first three weeks completely sapped my energy and the heat wave has made wanting to move around a test of human will. I will have gone to soccer once a week, but that pretty much sums up all of my working out (except for the odd long walk). I need to correct this and start weight training again so that I don’t lose any more muscle mass and to keep my metabolism running on high. I also need to be careful about my sodium consumption as restaurant-grilled chicken is pretty high in salts. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy with my progress, though it has slowed down a little recently. And while I probably won’t lose an entire pound by tomorrow, I feel proud of what I have accomplished so far.
