This weekend I attended an orientation for exchange students as a mentor. Another mentor who had also gone to Thailand told me that he was given a scholarship by Rotary (the organization that sent us abroad) to study in China. I then spoke to a kind Rotarian who has agreed to help get me in touch with someone who can help me take the steps that I need to take to apply for the scholarship.

I am really excited, because this will really help facilitate my studies in the UK! I still plan to teach in Korea, but this will be wonderful to do after I finish with that. I am really excited.

On another note, at this same orientation, I met two nerdfighters (fans of the vlogbrothers) and we made a short video for the vlogbrothers! One of the girls who helped make the video knows John Green’s mother, so maybe she can give her the video! It’s so bizarre how the world works sometimes. How strangely connected we all are…
