1. Getting my hair cut and colored. It looks great and added a spring in my step.
2. The salon is next to the royal oak music theater, which hosts many alternative bands. The people watching is great!! (though I felt very out of place walking out in my business suit)
3. Having patience and determination when Claire was up between 1-2:30 am. “I miss you mommy”. When I’m only in my own bed!

Alternative Bands

People watching, lol! My daughter is an alternative band based in San Francisco. I know exactly what you mean about the interesting looks they are tryin to portray.

In my daughter’s case, though, she is trying to make a fashion statement. I’m really surprised how conservative she is about many things, in spite of her appearance. I’m sure many of the musicians are this way!
