all five of the baby caterpillars we got have now become chrysalides. I moved them this morning from the small jar with the brown-pasty food layer in the bottom into the big, mesh observation container. They info sheet says it will be 7-10 days until butterflies emerge. I put two long sprigs of mock orange in the container anyhow :) Once the butterflies emerge we’re supposed to put sugar water and sliced oranges for them to drink from.
